About Moxie

What is The Full Moxie? The Full Moxie is a gathering place for intelligent, amazing women. We write about the things that motivate you to get up in the morning: Celebrity, DIY, Entertainment, Fashion & Beauty, Food, Health & Fitness, and Love & Family. It’s everything you go to the Internet for, all in one convenient place. Or, as our tagline says: “A broad perspective” — presented by a bunch of broads.

No, seriously. What is “Full Moxie”? Moxie is a state of being: bold, courageous, sassy, always with a bit of spark. The Full Moxie is a play on the British phrase “the full monty,” which means to go full out, whole hog.

Who is The Full Moxie? The Full Moxie was created by three writers named Traci Arbios, Natali Carrera and Heather McLane. Posts written by the three of us, as well as posts and photos from a network of fantastic guest writers representing a variety of interests and voices (Guests with Moxie), will appear on the site.

What else? In addition to posts expounding on any number of topics relevant to women (and the possibilities here are endless), the site includes the Woman of the Week, where we pick a woman who is knocking our socks off that week and celebrate her accordingly; the Gratuitous Picture of Your Moxie (G.P.O.Y.M.), a gallery featuring reader-submitted photos of cool chicks doing cool things; Ask the Guys, where we pick the brains of our men friends in an effort to get to know them a little better; Today’s Wayback Chart Topper, where we look back to see which songs topped the charts on this day in history; Photo Galleries, which feature photos and topics of interest; and various other regular features that will surely surprise and delight.

So who are Traci, Natali and Heather? Glad you asked.

Traci Arbios is a web designer and syndicated columnist (which she touts because it makes her feel fancy). She is also fancy. A native of Sonoma County, wine runs through her veins, and whine through her posts. She lives with and writes about (among other things) her blended family of 7 kids, 2 pets and one exceedingly patient husband; and she loves cheese. LOVES.

Natali Carrera is a full-time working mom, wife and blogger. She may or may not be addicted to going to Target. She’s a lover of all things girly and vintage, and is an often successful extreme bargain hunter. In general, she’s a big fan of people, cooking, organization and do-it-yourself projects. Natali is a life-long Fresnan and big time cheerleader of the Central Valley.

Heather McLane is a freelance writer who suspects the free in freelance makes companies feel they don’t actually have to pay her. She’s single but hates to mingle, and thinks the perfect evening is best spent watching highbrow British television whilst eating 7Eleven nachos. She doesn’t own a cat or lipstick.

Cool. How can I write for The Full Moxie? If you’d like to be a guest blogger, please drop us a line at submissions@the fullmoxie.com.

I have a million compliments I’d like to share with you, and one tiny criticism. Can I contact you? No! Actually, yes — we’d love to hear from you. Click here for contact information.

We thank you for checking out The Full Moxie, and hope that you’ll bookmark us, make us a daily stop, and tell all your friends and relatives all about us. Please follow us on Twitter, friend us on Facebook, and pin posts you dig on Pinterest.
