There are many reasons why I love Twitter: brief, witty repartee; connecting with friends; learning in snippets. But the best part? Getting news and bits almost as it happens.

This video is like all the things I love about Twitter rolled into one: it’s witty, I’m connecting with old TV friends and I just learned about something in a snippet. Fresh from several of my friends in Imaginaria (though I’d like to credit @wygit, specifically) is a political ad for Michigan Supreme Court Candidate Bridget Mary McCormack which has reassembled the cast of The West Wing.

The ad not only endorses McCormack, but “talks about a national emergency that’s in progress: people are voting in the partisan section of the ballot but NOT in the non-partisan section where they judges are elected and the ballot initiatives are voted on.” (Eclectablog)

Enjoy.

  1. Hiya! Thanks for the linkage. If you don’t mind, it’s “Eclectablog”, not “Electa Blog” (a very common mistake that even Rachel Maddow has made ; )

  2. Ahhh! This fills me with joy. DONNA!
