I’ve made it no secret that Halloween is my favorite, FAVORITE holiday. Even more than Thanksgiving. Even more than Christmas. (But only slightly more than Arbor Day.)
Every year for the past 11, I’ve thrown a large-ish Halloween bash for all our kids, their friends, our extended family and our adult friends. And their dates. Oh, and the parents of the kids and some neighbors. Being as we have a ton of kids, you can imagine that the party gets — as I said — a little large. Ish.
Usually around July 1, I start getting this excited/anticipatory feeling that it’s time to start planning. It really doesn’t take that long to plan; I just like that part a lot. And what’s not to like? There’s a TON of creative ideas on the interwebs, and me, being a crafty girl? I tend to convince myself I can MAKE ALL THE THINGS. (Reminder.)
Right now I’m concerned with costume ideas. Being as I’ve got a good 6 or so weeks until the big event, I need to break the planning into chunks. Here are a few costume ideas I’ve run into for hubs and I.
