This song. Ahhhhh, this joyful song reminds me of the day hubs and I bought our first washer and dryer together. Why would such a moment be so memorable, you ask? Well, because they were the front loading, high efficiency type of washer and dryer! And life doesn’t get more exciting than when you’re saving yourself future dollars and ensuring clean laundry for years to come. Plus we got a $50 rebate from PG&E. WHAT A FABULOUS DAY.
So yeah. This song, the number one song from this week in 2009, reminds me of that glorious day. It’s an anthem to good times. An anthem to excitement. An anthem to that fateful, fantastic day of large appliance procurement.
Also it was blasting in a nonstop, circuitous loop from the nearby 3-D TV display.
