Step five: PAINT!

Step five: PAINT!

Remove the newspaper and voilà! You have an amazing piece of art. If you want, take your watercolor paint and paint over the entire canvas, covering the white areas and wax. It’ll give your piece a funky finish.

Now: Go make unique art BETTER than my art. Because you CAN.

  1. This is a great tutorial! I’ve done something similar but used parchment paper instead. kept the iron completely clean and peeled right off the crayon! ;)

  2. this can be done by shaving crayons over the paper with a cheese grater and leave it out in the hot sun

  3. I never would gave thought if crushing the crayons before melting them! I wonder how different it would look with a hair dryer instead on an iron. I’m definitely going to try this! Thanks! :)
