A group of singing grandmothers from a town in Russia called Buranovo are being credited with saving their village thanks to their rendition of a song called “Come on and Dance!”

Buranovo was a forgotten town with no running water until the Buranovskiye Babushki (grandmothers of Buranovo) entered the Eurovision pop music contest and came in second place. Now, the following video of them performing has gone viral, and the local government is thanking the grandmothers by building a water pipeline, installing streetlights and Internet for the village’s only school, and fixing the roads.
