I’m not a huge app person — I’m super dorky that way — and apparently everybody and their cousin had been playing DrawSomething for about a month before I finally downloaded the app and gave it a shot. But when I did, I was immediately addicted and upgraded to the paid version.
The premise: Think Pictionary with gold coins. You draw; the other player — who technically isn’t your opponent because you WANT them to get the answer right — guesses. If they solve your drawing, you both win the word’s worth in coins. The more complicated the word, the more coins it’s worth.
I like to play this one with my kids. It gives me a snapshot of how they think and plus they’re giving Mommy a little picture! *joy* My favorite co-player was my 9-year old, who would play me from her iPod Touch. I thought you might enjoy “playing” with her, as well.
Click through and see if you can follow her genius.
(SIDE NOTE: In case you see her username and are compelled to challenge her, “little mouse 09″ as she was known has deleted the game from her iPod because she found it “boring.” She no longer plays. And I am heartsick.)
