The other day, someone gave me a pound of cherries. It was really kind of this person, and, really, how was she to know I don’t like cherries?
Every time I’d open the refrigerator I’d see these cherries staring back, (rightfully) judging me for letting perfectly good fruit go to waste. So I did what any person who’s spent more than five minutes on Pinterest would do: I threw those suckers in a mason jar and made cherry-infused vodka. I may not like cherries, but I certainly like vodka.
Following is a quick tutorial on how to make cherry-infused vodka, in case you find yourself in a similar unwelcome cherry-receiving situation. Or maybe you love cherries so much you want to marry them and make tiny, vodka-soaked cherry babies; either way, enjoy.
