I don’t think there is anything a Mason jar can do that isn’t dead useful or adorable. Whether used for making flavored vodka or for sipping drinky-drinks; using as storage or as a home to pet bugs; or used for their intended purpose, home canning — the Mason jar is an amazing, wonderful item.

… For which I will give you yet another use: a homemade lantern. And not just any homemade lantern — a downright adorable, Restoration Hardware-style lantern. These babies are super easy and are perfect for both indoor and outdoor decor.
