Okay, you guys. There is nothing going on in the celebrity gossip world today, other than the apparent suicide of former NFL player Junior Seau, and that’s not gossip, just a sad story.
So, instead of trying to make stories about Cameron Diaz’s crying after a haircut sound interesting, I am going to post this video from The Today Show. It’s about a mother accused of bringing her five-year-old daughter into a tanning bed with her.
New Jersey mother Patricia Krentcil, 44, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree child endangerment. A teacher at her daughter’s school called police when the girl showed up at school with a terrible sunburn and told classmates she “went tanning with Mommy.”
Krentcil says that she would never allow her daughter to tan, and that it’s not “normal.” Taking a look at her overly tanned face, I’m not certain she knows where “normal” begins.
Kids under the age of 14 aren’t allowed to tan at salons, with good reason. Tanning beds are one of the top skin cancer risks.

I think that sunburn her daughter had was her ‘scarred for life’ scar coming to surface for her mom looking like this: http://www.examiner.com/sites/default/files/styles/large_lightbox/hash/1335957718_ht_patricia_krentcil_tanning_lpl_120501_wblog.jpg
