The Ingredients
This simple recipe calls for just four items:
– 1 cup vodka (Martha would encourage you to buy something swank, but I implore you to keep it real and buy what you can afford that week. (Clearly this was a wanting week for me)
– 5 to 6 lemons (From your own tree would be ideal; from the clearance aisle at Fresh & Easy would be an acceptable alternative)
– Superfine sugar (Not granulated. Type “Is granulated sugar a good substitute for superfine sugar?” and the Internet will slap your face off. Superfine sugar dissolves a great deal easier than granulated)
– Ice (Blah blah, funny quip about ice)
Other items used:
– Mason jars (Class, baby)
– Juicer (Nothing fancy; I got a $20 such-and-such juicer because I have the weak hands of a toddler and can’t coax juice out of a bottle of Ocean Spray)
– Strainer (Unless you like your lemon drops pulpy, in which case I will judge you fervently but silently)

I’m going to try this recipe for lemon drops this weekend..FYI,,your a hoot!
