Not too long ago we showed you how to make a glass tile necklace. Those square pendants are really lovely and easy to make, but the glass tiles can be hard to find (especially if you can’t order them online).

So I tried to come up with a project that had a similar result, but used readily available materials. This pendant, while very much like the glass tile project, instead uses a larger, round piece of vase filler. Because the finished piece is heavier, it needs to be a little sturdier and requires a slightly different finishing process.

Perfect for elegantly framing photos or scrapbooking paper, these pendants make great pieces of jewelry as well as awesome gifts.
