In keeping with my ongoing desire to add color to my living room in celebration of spring, I came up with a new toss pillow design that is easy to make, vibrant and crisp. This easy project can be completed in about an hour and you’ll love the cheery result!

What you’ll need:

  • Upholstery fabric (I used a solid in a natural tone)
  • Colored crafting felt (less than one full sheet per color needed; scraps work!)
  • Embroidery thread
  • Needle with an eye large enough for embroidery thread
  • Polyfill/batting
  • Thread
  • Sewing machine
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape or ruler
  • Iron/ironing board
  • Hot glue gun/glue (I used less than one stick)
