Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur made by steeping lemon zest in grain alcohol until the oil from the zest is released. Once the zest is strained out, add simple syrup, chill and voilà! The result is a refreshing lemon liqueur perfect for all kinds of cocktails, recipes, or enjoying on its own.

Because I am fancy (which I believe I have mentioned previously), when life hands me lemons (or, you know, my tree), I make Limoncello.
